Made With Joy: The Story Behind the Sticker

At SouthPaw Stickers, every sticker we create comes with a story, and today, I'm excited to share one of my favourites. It's about a simple yet meaningful sticker you'll find on all our packaging: "Made With Joy."

A Family Moment of Inspiration

The idea for this sticker came to life during a quiet moment at the kitchen table. My daughter and I were reviewing mock-ups for our packaging and comparing two different sticker materials. It was one of those cozy, everyday moments that turned into something special.

While I was focused on the details, my daughter suddenly said, "Mom, you should make a sticker that says "Made with Joy" instead of "Made With Love". Her words stopped me in my tracks. It was such a perfect expression of what SouthPaw Stickers is all about: spreading joy through creativity, connection and the little things in life.

Her suggestion felt like a lightbulb moment, and we ran with it. The result is a cheerful, heartfelt sticker that reflects the care and happiness that go into every order.

A Keen Eye for Quality

My daughter hasn't just been a source of inspiration - she's also been an incredible help in refining the quality of our products. In fact, I've started calling her our unofficial quality analyst!

I tested two different materials for our "Fridge Stickers" and printed duplicate copies of a number of our designs on each material and placed them side by side on our refrigerator to test their magnetism and to compare print quality. She immediately started asking questions about why I had two copies of each design next to each other on the fridge and so I explained that I was comparing material to see which one was better. I explained that one product was more expensive than the other but that both got mixed reviews with some of their features. After a few hours, I ultimately decided to go with the lower cost per sheet material as the print qualities looked similar and that would allow me to offer the "Fridge Stickers" at a lower cost. Not long after I made this decision, she noticed a tiny inconsistency in the black ink on the magnet paper I decided to go with and had overlooked. Her attention to detail helped us choose the best material for our new line of "Fridge Stickers." Her sharp eye and creative input have become an invaluable part of the SouthPaw Stickers Journey.

What makes SouthPaw Stickers truly special is the teamwork and love that go into every aspect of our business. From brainstorming sticker ideas to testing materials and designs, my family has been there every step of the way. It's these shared moments that make our mission to "stick a little joy in your life" even more meaningful.
